A Hudson Valley Harvest - Students Prepare to Pitch Plans at Marist College

Calling all college students - the New York State Mid-Hudson Regional Business plan competition will be held on April 12th on the campus of Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY.

This exciting and inspiring annual event offers college students in the greater Hudson Valley area the opportunity to present their business plans to a panel of judges, comprised of investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.

Last year, the event included 50 teams from 8 Hudson Valley area colleges and universities who competed for cash prizes, and the opportunity to participate in the New York State finals in Albany. Student applications are due by March 22nd. To register, visit www.nybpc.org/2019-competition/ or for more information, contact Dede Hourican Assistant Dean, School of Computer Science and Mathematics, Marist College, at (845) 575-3588 dede.hourican@marist.edu or Roberta Diggins roberta.diggins@marist.edu , or visit the website. https://www.marist.edu/computer-science-math/mid-hudson-regional-business-plan-competition .

It has been an honor for me to participate as a judge since the program's inception back in 2012, and look forward to it every year. Hope to see you there!
