37 teams from 7 colleges presented their business plans last week at the 7th annual Mid-Hudson Regional Business Plan Competition at Marist College. Teams from Marist, SUNY Dutchess, SUNY New Paltz, SUNY Ulster, The Culinary Institute of America, U.S. Military Academy, West Point, and Vassar College competed in a variety of tracks, including
Consumer Products and Services, Technology and Entertainment, Agricultural Technology and Food, MedTech and Well-Being, and Energy and Environment.
It was a great experience to once again join with my colleagues on our panel to judge the presentations, and choose the winners. So inspiring to see and hear from these smart and savvy students who put so much work into their plans and presentations.
Now, we're off to Albany for the New York State Competition August 26th, as they will vie with teams from colleges and universities across the State to compete for cash and in-kind prizes.
